Currently, we are in search of an experienced and innovative Culinary and BOH Corporate Chef to lead our operations across four existing locations and spearhead our catering program. This pivotal role involves rebuilding and enhancing the team in the Nomad location, implementing efficient systems, and ensuring the highest standards in culinary excellence.
**Compensation and Benefits:**
- Competitive Salary: $130,000 to $150,000.
- Bonus: $10,000/15,000 annually based on revenue and cost/labor control + customer online reviews.
- Health Care: 50% coverage with Oxford.

**Responsibilities:**
1. **Innovate Italian Cuisine:**
- Develop and refine seasonal Italian menus, showcasing creativity and mastery of traditional and contemporary Italian dishes.

- Ensure the highest quality of food preparation and presentation through regular quality assessments, maintaining our esteemed culinary standards.

- Strategically manage food and labor costs, balancing financial acumen with culinary excellence to ensure optimal profitability.
5. **Sourcing Excellence:**
- Cultivate relationships with top suppliers for premium ingredients, managing inventory with precision to guarantee freshness and quality.
6. **Champion Safety and Sanitation:**
- Uphold and enhance rigorous safety and sanitation protocols, ensuring a pristine kitchen environment.

**Qualifications:**
- Proven track record as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role, with a strong emphasis on Italian cuisine.
- Deep knowledge and passion for Italian culinary arts, techniques, and ingredients.
- A leader who can inspire, manage, and unite a diverse team of culinary professionals.
- Expertise in cost management, menu development, and kitchen operations.
- A creative visionary who values consistency and quality in every dish.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Certification in ServSafe, with NYC Department of Health Food Protection Certificate being an added advantage.
