The centerpiece of the Seaport District’s renaissance is an entirely re-imagined historic Tin Building, featuring a one-of-a-kind Marketplace and entertainment venue operated by renowned chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten.
The Tin Building by Jean Georges will feature multiple unique venues: Several full-service restaurants, fast casual and counter dining outlets as well as 10,000 sf of retail featuring private label products, grab and go, grocery and CPGs. To support this significant operation the Marketplace will feature a large commissary kitchen and bakery, as well as an exhibition kitchen that will provide media opportunities.

POSITION SUMMARY
As an Order Shopper, you’ll be a part of e-commerce department supporting customer orders, collecting items for orders, packing and preparing them for delivery/or pickup.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Fulfills online orders efficiently, accurately and with a sense of urgency (picking + scanning + packing)
- Comfort using handheld technology (mobile) device to fulfill orders
- Detail oriented, paying attention to product and order accuracy
- Eagerness to learn product knowledge, customer service standards, and store operations
- Ability to keep staging area organized and free of clutter
- Willingness to work in other areas of e-commerce department as required, e.g., customer service, cashier, food orders runner.
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- 2+ years of experience as in-store shopper/picker
- Ability to read and speak basic English
- Ability to lift to 40 pounds, stand/walk for at least 6 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach with or without reasonable accommodation
- High School diploma or equivalent diploma
Availability Requirements
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to perform the essential job functions consistent safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for prolong periods of time.
- Moving around on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the work area and property. Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms, and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment.
- Climbing steps regularly.
- Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
- Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
- Exposure to temperatures: <32 degrees Fahrenheit (freezing), 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit (refrigerators), >90 degrees Fahrenheit.
The base pay range for this position is a range of $18 - $20 per hour. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc.
