Title: Busser
REPORTS TO: General Manager
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
Position Summary:
The Busser maintains the cleanliness of the dining room ensuring a neat and sanitary place for guests to dine in. Each Busser is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of the Gibsons Restaurant Group’s philosophy, which is based upon four distinct core beliefs: Hospitality, Quality, Family and Value.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reset tables according to specifications of the restaurant.
- Remove plates and silverware when all guests have finished.
- Set up and break down dining room for each shift.
- Maintain service stations in a clean and orderly manner throughout shift.
- Perform all opening and closing side work as required.
- Follow company and equipment standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining room walls and shelves and cleanliness of overall dining room.
- Assist wait staff in carrying trays and bringing food to tables.
- Keep a clean and professional appearance at all times.
- May perform other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. No experience required.
Skills:
Ability to communicate verbally with other dining room staff in fast-paced environment. Ability to frequently use hands and fingers to feel, pull, push, and lift. Ability to stand for long periods of time and frequently lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
