Job Details
We are look for Part-time positions. Friday, Saturday and Sundays approx 12pm - 8:30pm and 1:30pm-10pm shifts.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Must have 2 years + experience in a fast-paced NYC restaurant as a Host
- Experience working with Open Table, Resy
- Excellent email and phone etiquette
- Proficient typing skills
- Must be knowledgeable of Industry critics & awards
- Must have full schedule availability
- Must be able to take constructive criticism and work well in a team dynamic
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Be warm, knowledgeable and noticeably appreciative
- Accommodate guests by making each individual feel heard and helped
- Act professionally and always maintain composure
- Identify and report problems to management immediately
- Be able to multi-task phone, email, and in-office responsibilities and provide the appropriate service
- Manage day to date host stands tasks
- Plot tables for service
- Field customer calls and answer in a hospitable tone while understanding the offerings at Great Jones
- Seat dining guests
- Direct experience reservations as needed
- Assist with retail merchandise to maintain a clean and visually appealing aesthetic
- Manage merchadise inventory
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($18.00 - $22.00)
