Restaurant Server
Overview: To provide proper service & guest satisfaction for the bar and restaurant as outlined to the quality standards of the operation set forth by the Food and Beverage Team. To be fully knowledgeable and engaged in all aspects of the dining experience and restaurant. Vast knowledge in executing an elevated fine dining experience and advanced understanding of all food and beverage items served. Uses hospitality skills in building a rapport with guests. Performs duties in a pleasant, conscientious and professional manner.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards.
- Ensure that standards are maintained at a superior level on a daily basis.
- Check all table set-ups in the station for cleanliness and proper position before open.
- Maintain complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors and intoxicated patrons.
- Provide luxury guest experience at all times. Utilize selling techniques to provide Bespoke service.
- Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
- Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
- Possess a drive for service to include serving and assisting guests and associates to create memorable experiences.
- Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned station and service areas
- Follow all departmental service standards of procedure
- Carry out any other duties assigned and when required by the Restaurant and Bar Director
