Lokal Eatery & Bar, a gorgeous upscale waterfront restaurant is looking for a professional & dedicated Manager to provide an excellent guest experience, and create a healthy, respectful, positive work environment. Ideal candidate would exhibit a thirst for knowledge and continued education in the hospitality field, as well as a positive and collaborative attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate Daily Front of the House operations
• Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints / concerns
• Hire and train staff
• Deliver exceptional service while maximizing customer satisfaction
• Estimate future needs regarding goods, kitchen utensils, cleaning products etc.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
• Interview, hire, and train new employees to work in different positions at the restaurant.
• Make sure that all staff members comply with safe food handling procedures.
• Formulate work schedules on a weekly or monthly basis and outline each staff member’s work duties.
• Engage customers is positive dialogue to ensure return business and take and resolve any complaints from them.
• Coordinate interviews with applicants as necessary.
• Design and implement new tools and procedures to improve service as necessary.
• Lead pre-shifts daily to make sure staff is aware of all updates, processes/policies and restaurant menu additions.
• Handle all guest relations issues
• Ensures a high level of guest satisfaction and cultivates return business.
• Develops and upholds restaurant standard operating procedures
• Follows and ensures compliance of all policies and standard operating procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook
