Job Details

Annabelle is looking for a full-time hospitality professional who is experienced in a fine dining environment. 

Kalorama, the exclusive neighborhood drenched in history and studded with many of Washington’s most notable embassies, has a new fine dining concept, Annabelle.  This intimate oasis features modern American cuisine with a menu crafted by the former White House chef Frank Ruta who served three presidents. His menu at Annabelle showcases retro classics that reflect the restaurant’s inviting new interior.

From the intimate Garden Room, to the art-filled Gallery Room on the second floor with its baby grand piano, every detail of this unique setting makes it a perfect dining destination. Enjoy the art deco-inspired, 10-seat Bar Barlow, named for the lauded poet Joel Barlow, who dubbed the area Kalorama for its beautiful view. Here guests will enjoy craft cocktails and a wine list that invites exploration, before delving into Executive Chef Ruta’s a la carte or tasting menu. His fare is artfully pleasing and sourced from the best both nationally and locally.  

Must Have
  • Transparent passion for hospitality in all of its forms
  • Court of Sommeliers Introductory certification or equivalent wine/spirits knowledge
  • Desire to learn, improve, and master your craft
  • Minimum 2 Year Fine Dining experience in major market
  • Natural inclination toward organization, precision, and eloquence
  • Food Handler/TIPS certified

  • Provide a high level of service to guests in a fast paced fine dining environment

  • Work closely with chef to have a full understanding of our menu and overall mission 
  • Maintain an elegant and professional manner on the floor at all times
  • Anticipate the needs of our diners and provide them with the experience they desire within the scope of our restaurant

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly (Based on Experience) plus tips

Estimated Weekly Tips: $1,600
