Sailor is a new neighborhood bistro in Fort Greene, helmed by Chef April Bloomfield and Gabriel Stulman’s Happy Cooking Hospitality. We enjoy working with humans who are warm, welcoming and empathetic, detail-oriented, open to feedback, and enthusiastic about being part of a team that prioritizes quality service and mindful hospitality.
Bartenders at Sailor guide the guests dining at their bar through the experience while also producing cocktails for the restaurant. Our goal is to tailor exceptional dining experiences for every table vis-a-vis expert guidance, attentive listening, and intentional execution. Wine will be part of the daily conversation at Sailor. We’ll be offering ongoing wine education, and we’d be well matched with people who have a passion for it. We’re looking for experienced dining room professionals who enjoy working with a small and dedicated team.
We’re open for dinner Wednesday-Sunday, with near-term plans to expand into brunch and lunch. We have full- and part-time positions available, but all applicants should have weekday and weekend availability.
