We are looking for an experienced line cook to join our team as the lead line cook under our CDC. This role is for someone who is looking to continue honing and learning the craft of cooking, but also to learn new skills in leadership and management in pursuit of eventually becoming a sous chef (with us or elsewhere). 

Candidates must have 4+ years of cooking experience and an eagerness to continue to learn and grow. Enthusiasm about and/or experience in Italian cooking is a plus. 

Our kitchen is small and tight-knit. Strong people skills are critical. Take the craft seriously--not yourself. Experience and humility are not mutually exclusive. We need someone with both.

While this position will be largely limited to evenings (1 or 2 pm to close), we may occasionally ask for daytime availability for assistance with prep and/or special events. It is therefore important that candidates do not have a second job or that, if they do, those second jobs are flexible in terms of hours.
