Join the culinary team at our prestigious fine dining restaurant, specializing in expertly crafted steaks, seafood, and authentic Louisiana classics. We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to help us deliver an unforgettable dining experience to our valued guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and refine menu items.
  • Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to recipes and techniques.
  • Assist in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
  • Monitor and enforce health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure consistent food quality and presentation.
  • Participate in menu planning and innovation.
  • Handle administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a fine dining or upscale restaurant.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and creativity.
  • Food safety and sanitation certification is a plus.
