Liliana is the sister bar and restaurant adjacent to Osito, San Francisco's only Live Fire tasting menu experience brought to you by Chefs Seth Stowaway, Matt Hanley and their team. The cocktail program focuses ingredients through the lens of preservation, fire, and seasonality. The beverage program is rounded out by a wine selection with a focus on natural and biodynamic production, with carefully selected spirits, sakes, beers.

Job Description
The successful candidate will be full of passion for Food & Beverage and guest satisfaction. They should have knowledge of spirits, classic cocktails, wine, beer and local ingredients. Our ultimate goal is to provide an exceptional guest experience, by leading the guest on a journey of the best food and beverage that Liliana and the Bay Area has to offer. Liliana bartenders are passionate about our industry, have classic cocktail knowledge and are enthusiastic about using seasonal ingredients. They are detail oriented, efficient, and open to learning and suggestions. Be prompt, high-spirited, and always carry a gracious and hospitable attitude. You will be working in a small team, and so you should enjoy teamwork.
Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure the highest standards for our cocktails and ingredients are met.

Make all syrups and ingredients in house whenever possible.

Assist the Lead Bartender in making all batched cocktail recipes.

Assist in receiving all products and handling of bar invoices per the invoice SOP.

Set up all ingredients needed for nightly cocktail production, to the quality and manner set by the Lead Bartender. Ingredientes include and not limited to: citrus juices, spirits, batched cocktails, garnishes, etc.

Be aware of all menus and all menu changes. Assist in communicating to all team members of these changes as they happen in a timely manner.

Contribute and build the culture of elevated hospitality by ensuring excellent standards of service, communication, and education.

Ensure that all beverages are executed properly.

Assist the Lead Bartender as needed with all end-of-period inventories.

Learn all POS systems, inventory systems, beverage lists and any other information related to the selling of beverages are understood.

Provide a high level of service and hospitality to guests while staying true to the Oso Pequeño culture.
Qualifications

Two years of experience in a similar restaurant environment preferred
-
Two years bartending experience in a similar restaurant environment preferred

At least 1 year of hospitality experience preferred

Able to describe menu items and communicate guest preferences

Possess a hospitable and gracious demeanor

Food Handler’s Safety Permit, TIPS training certification, RBS certification

US work authorization required

Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

Ability to speak to team members, management and guests clearly and effectively while under heavy pressure

Strong spatial awareness, being always aware of guests, their experience and energy and overall awareness of the restaurant and bar space.

Strong sense of how to best prioritize delegated task and demands of the position
