Position Summary - Sous Chef

As a Sous Chef, you won't just be cooking; you'll be crafting extraordinary culinary experiences. Your mission? To prepare and direct the creation of exceptional dishes while upholding the highest standards of sanitation, health, and personal hygiene. Embark on a journey where you'll lead the kitchen brigade to greatness!

Your role will be nothing short of thrilling. Here's what you'll be doing:

  • Master of the Kitchen: You'll be the maestro of our kitchen, ensuring that food is prepared with precision, in accordance with the client's specifications or special requests.
  • Ingredient Wizard: You'll oversee ingredient procurement, turning your culinary prowess into a culinary artistry by ensuring the freshest ingredients while minimizing waste.
  • Equipment Magician: Maintaining and inspecting our kitchen equipment and utensils, you'll recommend repairs or replacements to keep our kitchen running at its best.
  • Team Dynamo: Motivate and inspire our team to create a productive and positive work environment. It's not just about cooking; it's about creating culinary magic together!
  • Hygiene Virtuoso: You'll ensure the kitchen operates in line with the highest health, safety, and hygiene codes and standards, always maintaining a DOH score of 95 or better.
  • Kitchen Maestro: Keeping your workspace spotless and equipment in top shape, you'll be the driving force behind our kitchen's success.
  • Quality Guardian: Before each service, you'll perform food temperature checks to guarantee excellence with every plate.
  • All-Rounder: Your journey doesn't stop in the kitchen; it includes working the line, prep work, and quality control.

  • Culinary Passion: Previous experience in related food service positions is a must – your culinary journey has already begun.
