About Us: During the holidays, the Truffleist's sister company, Cheesesteaks by the Truffleist, opens up in Bryant Park and Union Square. Cheesesteaks offers everyday food, elevated with the simple addition of our amazing truffle products. We're excited to bring our delicious offerings to the heart of the holiday markets, and we're looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team.

There are 2 separate booths that we run during the holiday.

Cheesesteaks by the Truffleist
Oct 27 - Jan 2
Located in Bryant Park, offers our full menu, from cheesesteaks, burgers and fries. It is a double booth that operates at a very fast pace. 

Fries by the Truffleist
Nov 16 - Dec 24
Located in Union Square, offeres only our fried items off the main menu. Single booth, smaller team that you'd work closely together with.

Position Overview: We are seeking energetic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Seasonal Cashiers at the holiday markets. As a cashier, you will be the face of our brand, ensuring that every customer has a positive and memorable experience while enjoying our delectable cheesesteaks and fries.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers with a friendly and positive attitude.
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system.
• Handle cash transactions and provide change as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized cashier station.
• Answer customer questions and provide information about our menu items.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Advertise the Truffleist Retail booth also located in the holiday market.

Qualifications:

• Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to handle cash transactions with accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiastic and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
