We are Bang Bang Noodles and what started as a street food concept, we have grown to our first brick & mortar location in Downtown Los Angeles.
Our food is a modern take of the traditional Biang Biang noodles which are a type of noodle popular in the cuisine of China's Shaanxi Province. The noodles, touted as one of the "eight strange wonders of Shaanxi" (陕西八大怪) and Xi’an being the capital city, are described as being like a belt, owing to their thickness and length.
Robert Lee is our executive chef and co-owner of Bang Bang Noodles and has an extensive culinary background from Los Angeles to San Sebastian to New York City cooking in some of the most famed Michelin star restaurants. We believe that food should be great, keeping to our high standards, offer sophistication in flavors but also be accessible to as many people as possible.
Nelson Lee (yes, they’re brothers) is the co-owner of Bang Bang Noodles, and has been a producer and professional in the entertainment industry and has brought his business & marketing expertise to building BBN so we can continue giving our customers the best dining experience possible.
Both brothers are LA natives and have deep roots in the community and culture that makes this city such an amazing culinary epicenter.
