Seeking Front of House / Cashier / Managers
Bang Bang Noodles is seeking passionate individuals to join our team. Competitive wages and positive work environment. We specialize in freshly made handpulled Chinese noodles with a modern twist. Our menu is always developing and we're looking to expanding our team with talented and creative people that have a positive attitude.
Role and Responsibilities:
FINANCIAL
• Perform the daily responsibilities of the job within the scheduled time. Do not hit overtime without prior approval from management, and take a break within the expected time range
OPERATIONS
• Complete all daily duties with excellent examples of workmanship, guest relations, and communication
• Maintain a clean and organized station
• Understand and be able to effectively & accurately communicate with guests about all food and beverage items - including properly identifying and flagging allergies and dietary restrictions
• Warmly greet & assist guests and anticipate their needs
• Leave your station clean and ready for the PM crew to take over
• Maintain stocked/consolidated service / to-go supplies & plates
• Prepare the guests for ordering by answering questions, making recommendations, serving pastries and ushering guests to the register
• Maintain a full, clean & organized beverage service area & keep stock / inventory
• Finish deep cleaning as schedule
SERVICE STANDARDS
• Execute service standards and ensure utmost guest satisfaction
• Continually offer new ideas for the service of guests and staff education
• Maintain the standards of the restaurant with an attention to detail
GUEST RELATIONS
• Be ready and available to assist all guests with anything they might need, anticipating these needs before the guest has to ask
QUALIFICATIONS
• Is legal to work in the US
• Is fluent in English
• Has exceptional people skills & genuinely enjoys food and drink
• Is able to lift at least 25lbs
• Is able to work with a sense of urgency in a team-oriented environment
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($16.04 - $18.00) plus tips

We are Bang Bang Noodles and what started as a street food concept, we have grown to our first brick & mortar location in Downtown Los Angeles.
Our food is a modern take of the traditional Biang Biang noodles which are a type of noodle popular in the cuisine of China's Shaanxi Province. The noodles, touted as one of the "eight strange wonders of Shaanxi" (陕西八大怪) and Xi’an being the capital city, are described as being like a belt, owing to their thickness and length.
Robert Lee is our executive chef and co-owner of Bang Bang Noodles and has an extensive culinary background from Los Angeles to San Sebastian to New York City cooking in some of the most famed Michelin star restaurants. We believe that food should be great, keeping to our high standards, offer sophistication in flavors but also be accessible to as many people as possible.
Nelson Lee (yes, they’re brothers) is the co-owner of Bang Bang Noodles, and has been a producer and professional in the entertainment industry and has brought his business & marketing expertise to building BBN so we can continue giving our customers the best dining experience possible.
Both brothers are LA natives and have deep roots in the community and culture that makes this city such an amazing culinary epicenter.
