The Ramova Theatre, Taproom, and Grill is a multi-use space within a restored historic movie theater encompassing an 1500+ capacity live performance venue, an independent brewery, a 200+ capacity live performance and event space, beer garden, grill, and taproom.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The food runner position is vital to the service team, being responsible for ensuring that all food orders are delivered promptly and accurately from the kitchen to our guests.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Delivers food orders to the correct table in a timely manner. Assists the server as necessary to ensure that the guest is served immediately
- Assist bussers by clearing tables, setting tables, refilling beverages and dishware, and attending to guest requests
- Ensure the work area is well stocked, and maintain the cleanliness of the workspace throughout the shift
- Maintain dining ambiance with an enthusiastic and graceful attitude
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of all menu items, as well as daily specials
- Participate actively during pre-shift meetings
- Participate in restaurant service and team training
- Ensure consistent communication with staff members, management, and the kitchen during service
- Demonstrate ability to aid co-workers during service while successfully maintaining responsibilities
- Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness and appearance throughout all areas of the restaurant both before, during, and after service
- Complete all assigned side work as assigned by management
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Consistently report to scheduled shifts on time and ready to work in proper uniform
- Operate ethically to protect the assets and image of the company
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as per business need
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILL
- Must have 2-4 years of restaurant experience; fast-paced, high volume preferred
- A passion for food, beer, and service

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs; Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and climb steps regularly.
- Ability to physically maneuver through work areas; bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms, and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment.
