We are currently seeking a passionate and creative Sous Chef to assist in leading our kitchen team and continue to elevate our reputation for culinary excellence.

Job Description:

The Sous Chef position will include working closely with the Head Chef to oversee our kitchen operations. This includes, but is not limited to food preparation, staff management, and ensuring kitchen efficiency.

Responsibilities:

· Assist the Head Chef in menu development, creation of new dishes, and food preparation.

· Provide leadership to the kitchen staff to maintain standards of quality, consistency, and efficiency.

· Constant Quality Control- ensuring the consistent and high-quality preparation of all dishes, by preforming line checks, taste checks, and temp checks.

· Supervise and manage kitchen staff during the Executive Chef's absence.

· Coach, develop, and lead the kitchen staff by providing guidance and training to enhance their skills and teamwork.

· Ensure the kitchen staff is complying with all health and safety regulations

· Monitor inventory and assist with ordering and cost control

· Participate in the development of new dishes and special menu items.

· Collaborate with the management team to analyze customer feedback and enhance the overall dining experience.

Qualifications:

· Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a leadership role within an upscale restaurant

· Strong culinary and creative skills

· Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time management skills.

· Extensive knowledge of food preparation, flavor profiles, and menu development

· Knowledge of food cost control, inventory management, and kitchen operations.

· A passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences.

· Culinary degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.
