Birdsong is a 2 Michelin starred restaurant in San Francisco, focused on heritage cuisine by Chef Chris Bleidorn. 

We are seeking a passionate Dining Room Manager to continue growing operations and building upon our core team.

The Dining Room Manager at Birdsong assumes full responsibility for the front of house operations, and for the guest’s dining experience. The position manages and coordinates all aspects of the dining room in keeping with the company’s standards of quality, service and operational efficiency. The position is responsible for managing dining room staff, overseeing guest experience in all aspects, on-boarding all new employees, maintenance duties, financial duties, and maintaining streamlined communication between kitchen and dining room.

Job requirements:

  1. Prioritizes and cares deeply for providing a great guest experience
  2. Passion for food and dining
  3. Positive, team focused attitude
  4. Problem solving ability, especially in high stress environment
  5. Excellent interpersonal skills
  6. Ability to train and grow staff
  7. Strong wine knowledge
  8. At least 2-3 years of experience (fine dining environment preferred)
