Mattina is located in Lower Pacific Heights, we are looking for an Experienced Sous Chef/Executive Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine.
This position works closely with other sous chefs and supports the kitchen team thru organizing, directing, and executing activities in all aspects of the kitchen and restaurant. This job is primarily focused on training, supervision, organizing production, maintaining standards, cleanliness and consistencey.
This position directly supervises the kitchen team in production, day-to-day training, maintenence of standards, daily service operations and oversees ordering and prep lists.

Job Responsibilities include:
- Management, coordination and assistance in daily preparation for all sections, expediting service, inventory management and ordering.
- Assistance in training, supervising and coaching and counseling in coordination with Management of all Company policies and HR compliance.
