Description

The Alinea Group is looking for a full-time Polisher (Service Porter) to join our team! The Polisher is an important part of the team, ensuring that all equipment is cleanly, organized andmaintained at a high standard of service. This is a full-time position, paid hourly, and candidates must be willing to work 40+ hours, 5 days a week.

Responsibilities
• Stocks, cleans, and maintains equipment and tableware for service
including dishware, glassware, utensils, and interior decor
• Operates dish machine, cleaning tools, and other equipment with precision and accuracy
• Works closely with other front-of-house staff, including Runners and Servers on any immediate needs throughout the service

Requirements
• 1 or more year experience in dishwashing, porter, or a comparable position
• High attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Thinks clearly, and quickly, and maintains concentration during high-pressure situations

Physical Requirements
• Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours
• Must be able to move, pull or lift at least 35 pounds
• Must be able to climb stairs multiple times per shift
