Job Details
 Rezdôra is a 3-star NY Times and Michelin Star Italian Restaurant dedicated to the food & hospitality of the Emilia-Romagna region in Italy.  The restaurant was founded by CIA graduate Chef Stefano Secchi and entrepreneur David Switzer and we are located in the Flatiron district of New York City. 


We are currently looking for a passionate head bartender who loves Italian food, wine, cocktails and culture to join our team. This individual will oversee the restaurant's bar operations with exemplary hospitality, grace, thoroughness, efficiency, diligence and style. 

We are looking for a hospitality professional who is able to create a unique and personalized guest experience for all. Bartenders must possess leadership skills, be personable with guests and be able to anticipate their needs- working with a warm, knowledgeable & noticeably appreciative demeanor. It is the responsibility of the Bartender to coordinate bar activities to achieve the restaurant’s common goal of guest satisfaction. Our Head Bartender must be able to cooperate with Managers and co-workers as this role is integral to the success of the restaurant. Above all, the Head Bartender must always lead by example.

We believe in a ‘whole house’ mentality and we expect all departments, both front & back of house to support and motivate each other to achieve our goal of guest satisfaction. As the Head Bartender you will interact with all of these departments regularly and should be able to communicate effectively and respectfully with your co workers & managers. This person will be responsible for the management of weekly bar invoices, monthly inventory and the creation of seasonal cocktails and prep lists for the team. 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a New York City bartender 
  • Passionate interest in classic cocktails
  • Desire to create new & innovative cocktails, with focus on Italian ingredients
  • Desire to learn in detail about traditional & authentic, Italian food, wine, beer and spirits
  • Excellent bar dining operations and knowledge, including steps of service
  • Self-starter with capacity to follow through on tasks

    Our ideal candidate is a cocktail enthusiast, with a real passion and interest in hospitality and the craft of serving drinks. 

    • The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of the fundamentals of showmanship
    • Be knowledgeable in beer, wine, and spirits 
    • Applicants must have at least 2 years of experience in bartending and serving, and be comfortable in a fast paced, high volume restaurant.
