Fall 2022, Marcus Samuelsson opened his first Manhattan restaurant in seven years in the Starrett-Lehigh building in Chelsea. Hav & Mar refers to “Ocean” in Swedish and “Honey” in Amharic, taking its culinary cues from Marcus’ Scandinavian heritage and his Ethiopian roots as well as the influence of African roots in modern Black cuisine. We are looking for fun, vibrant, and upbeat hospitality professionals to join our team!
