Job Details

101 Hospitality is seeking a Financial Controller to join our team. The Financial Controller is responsible for the oversight of financial reporting, payables, receivables, and budgets, for all outlets. The role requires the ability to analyze financial data, implement financial systems and processes, and work with the management team to meet financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day accounts payable, accounts receivable, corporate cash flow, period end closing processes, balance sheet reconciliations and consolidations, and forecasting activities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for all 101 Hospitality locations, including balance sheets, income statements, P & Ls, cash flow statements, consistent SOPs, financial targets for budgets, and systems/processes. 
  • Oversee all AP / AR functions
  • Uphold existing / create new financial SOPs to ensure consistency at all 101 Hospitality locations.
  • Stay up to date with changes in financial systems, processes, policies and procedures as they relate to new accounting standards, regulatory changes, changes in business strategy, operations changes and business initiatives
  • Monthly bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Ensure Compliance with tax laws and regulations, ensure that all locations are compliant with all local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations. This includes tax obligations in a timely and accurate manner. Manage bank operations for payroll transfers, ACH, wires, etc.
  • Lead month-end reconciliation for balance sheet accounts and income statement
  • Consistently review and audit all financial statements to ensure correct GL coding.
  • Organize and maintain system for record keeping related to government agencies, insurance,, bank reconciliation backups and credit card receipts
  • Request and process W-9 forms from new vendors

Requirements:

  • At least four (4) years of experience as a financial controller, bookkeeper, or in a similar role
  • Experience in hospitality is preferred
