Vinegar Hill House - a small, independent, and established restaurant on the Brooklyn waterfront - is seeking a full-time General Manager.
Our principles are simple: deliver an educated dining experience with thoughtfully executed local, farm-to-table fare with curated natural wine and cocktails.
We are looking for someone who is ready to lead, educate, and inform our small and eager team, liaison heavily with our BOH to accomplish service goals, and maintain our standards. The candidate should have substantial wine knowledge and service experience.
The General Manager MUST work 3-4 floor shifts a week, and, in addition to leading FOH staff education and establishing service standards, will maintain the FOH schedule, manage beverage ordering and wine inventory, assist with maintenance, and many other duties.
