Awarded 1 Michelin Star in the 2022 & 2023 California Guide, Osito opened in late December 2021, Chef Stowaway’s inaugural restaurant. It is San Francisco’s only 100 percent live fire, fine dining experience, located in the heart of the Mission District. More than just a restaurant, Osito is a community of makers, farmers and supporters who have brought the Osito concept to life in the middle of a global pandemic with a philosophy to create an experience that is special and memorable, as well as accessible and inviting. The Osito experience is intimate – a place where strangers become friends in a warm setting, with a menu comprised of the most beautiful ingredients of the day. The beverage program is rounded out by an extensive wine selection with a focus on natural and biodynamic production, with carefully selected sakes, ciders and beers. The menu is inspired by collective memories and moments of nostalgia from Seth's past growing up in south Texas and his experience cooking on the California coast.
