Reporting to the Executive Chef, we’re looking for an experienced Butcher with morning availability to join the Hawksmoor team at our first international restaurant in New York.

Key focus of the role include:

-Fabrication and portioning meat
-Daily communication with the senior chef in charge
-Maintaining quality control of the products coming into the restaurant
-Proper maintenance and organization of the protein walk-ins


To be considered for the role you will have:

-Extensive experience working in some of the best kitchens or butcher shops in New York
-Comfortable and experienced with high volume businesses in terms of both covers and revenue
-AM availability
-A strong sense of urgency
-Hard work and dedication
-Availability Monday-Friday 7am-3pm


Hawksmoor recently opened in an incredible restaurant space in New York: a beautiful National Historic Landmark built as The United Charities Building in 1893 with a 30ft high ceilinged assembly hall that will form the main room of the restaurant. The location is just off Park Avenue South and north of the prestigious Gramercy Park and Union Square. The restaurant seats 170 with a 50-cover bar.
