The pastry cook will assist in all aspects of production in the pastry department by being an integral part of the team. They will complete tasks assigned for them on a daily basis, and they will work in a collaborative, enthusiastic and professional manner.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Be a part of the pastry production team that is creating food which meets or exceeds the expectations of the organization, as set by the Executive Pastry Chef.
-Maintain a clean and organized work space.
-Maintain and monitor quality of goods.
-Prepare and bake a variety of products according to established formulas and health and safety regulations
-Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned; duties, and/or responsibilities may change at any time with or without notice
-Help with inventory maintenance, and be able to alert a manager when goods need to be ordered.
-Must be available to work nights and weekends, and holidays and be flexible in their schedule
