The concept behind Yunomi Hand Roll is a quick service style restaurant serving the highest quality Japanese style hand rolls and delivering a new experience that is truly unique and special. With only 24 counter seats, the menu consists of a limited selection of sushi handrolls, select appetizers, hot teas, various sake, Japanese craft beers and wines served directly at our bar, in a comfortable and dynamic setting. The inspiration behind Yunomi has been the extensive study of Japanese traditional Washoku style hospitality and Omakase — chef’s choice style service. Yunomi’s concept will combine the two styles to provide guests with a distinct and personalized experience. Featured on the Michelin Guide 2023.

*Kitchen Helpers
*Dishwashers
*Cooks
*Training will be provided for neccessary menu items.
Restaurant experience is preferred. Bellow please find list of responsibilities and qualifications for the positions.
*Qualificaitons
-Recent experience relevant to these positions.
-Ability and focused to work in a fast-paced and high volume environment.
-General knowledge in cooking procedures, ingredients, cleanliness, sanitation and food safety procedures.
-Must have good English verbal skills and with ease be able to communicate with team members
-Adept to communicate and effectively with both back and front of the house teams.
-Fully understand state and local food sanitation regulations
-Must have sense of urgency when working in the kitchen.
**Kitchen Helper/ Sushi Helpers/Cooks**
*Responsibilities
-Prepare rice
-Opening and closing procedures of the assigned kitchen station.
-Prep Vegetables, Prepare sauces.
-Hold cleanliness of the kitchen or station as important as production.
-Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
-Work with the kitchen team on completing preparation of food items on time.
-Must be willing to participate in monthly team cleaning activities
*Responsibilities for cooks & handroll chefs include.
**Dishwashers
-Keep dishwashing station clean
-Wash all bus tubs
-Change trash bins
-Help kitchen prep

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($17.00) plus tips
