The Azoff Restaurant Group seeks a dynamic Manager to oversee operations of the legendary Nate’n Al’s, a Beverly Hills institution since 1945. Reporting to the General Manager, this position will be responsible for the operational accountability of our restaurant. Our Manager will also be responsible for coaching, motivating, scheduling and managing a diverse group of employees. Successful candidates will be high-caliber, assertive performers with strong results and commitment to customer satisfaction, experience and retention. Individuals must have a passion for food, strong knowledge of restaurant operations and finances, California labor law, high standards of sanitation and safety, exercise independent decision-making, and the drive to grow and develop those around you.

Responsibilities include:
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations to ensure excellence in guest service, hospitality and food quality
- Provide effective leadership for management and culinary teams by being engaged in daily operations, providing direction and support to achieve goals
- Drive financial performance of the restaurant by maximizing revenues and controlling COGS, labor and expenses
- Provide a positive work environment for staff members by giving them the tools they need to be successful with open, honest and direct communication
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety, and perform needed repairs
Qualifications:

2-4 or more years’ experience as manager in the hospitality or food and beverage industry

Demonstrated leadership skills, including coaching, directing, and motivating a team

Knowledge of and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to human resources, health, safety and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees and guests

Excellent written and verbal communication with a positive and outgoing personality

Professional, customer service focused, and solution oriented

Capable of delegating multiple tasks

Must enjoy and be able to succeed in a fast-paced and high stress work environment

Ongoing current Food Safety Manager certification

Excellent basic mathematical skills

Able to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system

Able to work in a standing position for prolonged periods of time

Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds

Ability to work a flexible schedule based on restaurant needs; Must be available to occasionally work nights, weekends & holidays
- P&L experience helpful, but not required
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus
