PRG Hospitality (Lincoln Restaurant) is hiring that unique General Manager. A successful candidate will have extensive experience in upscale casual or fine-dining restaurants with emphasis on staff training and service excellence. Qualified candidates will have at least four years of relevant management experience and a proven track record of success and growth.
The candidate will join a small management team and will focus on running a well-oiled operation, running daily services, and administering training programs. Specific duties and responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
- Lead, inspire, and manage all staff; up-keep team’s high spirit.
- Floor, opening, and closing responsibilities.
- Creating weekly schedules and ensuring daily floor coverage based on business needs.
- Develop and implement on-going training and continuing education programs for all FOH staff.
- Upkeep FOH training materials, including service manuals and menu study guides.
- Develop staff evaluation matrices and implement performance review programs
- Manage the hiring, on-boarding, and evaluating staff.
- Ensure high quality of service.
- Maintain active and valid ABRA Manager and Food Manager Licenses;
- This position is required to work at days and evenings.
- Labor and food cost management
- Maintain and develop beverage program
Minimum Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree or ten years of equivalent professional experience is required;
- Four years or more of progressive large upscal casual or fine-dining restaurant management experience is required;
- Expert knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint and Toast
- Superb effective business writing skills;
- Excellent time-management skills;
- Impeccable personal presentation and sense of decorum.
We offer a competitive compensation package that consists of a base salary and a performance-based annual bonus. We provide paid vacation, medical insurance and personal days. All candidates must have a proof of work authorization in the United States and three professional references.
