Recognized by Michelin Guide, Food & Wine, Bon Appetit, and the James Beard Foundation, The Dabney, is looking to add a Service Director to lead its growing team.
This is an extremely exciting time at The Dabney with so much continued growth as we pursue our ambitious goals. We're looking for a Service Director who embodies our vision of a dining experience and is ready to help write the next chapter on its journey as the leader of mid-Atlantic cuisine.
We seek to balance the highest standards of excellence and refinement with our uniquely approachable environment.
Requirements include:
- At least three year's experience in an upscale restaurant.
- An enthusiasm for hospitality and a constant strive for guest satisfaction
- A positive attitude towards fellow employees, and the ability to work in a team environment
- Must be highly organized, efficient, creative, and be able to work precisely
- A love of food and beverage and the desire to constantly learn more
- Flexible schedule (must be able to work weekends and holidays)
Duties/Responsibilities include:
- Assist General Manager with Maintain pace and quality of nightly service
- Help foster vigorous learning environment and guide professional development
- Maintaining prime appearance and condition of the restaurant
- Any and all additional duties as determined by General Manager and Ownership
