JOB DESCRIPTION:

CAFE SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Overview

The Cafe Support Specialist performs a variety of daily functions that help to ensure the proper functioning of all ReAnimator Coffee locations. This is a management level position, with the primary goal of overseeing staff and daily operations at each location. This position is part of the Retail Leadership Team, alongside the Quality Control Coordinater/Trainer, and reports to the Director of Retail. 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Act as point person on a variety of daily operational issues that can disrupt service at any ReAnimator location
• Serve as manager-on-duty during at least one weekend day
• Collaborate with other members of retail leadership team on regular basis to identify goals and objectives for each location
• Oversee, and report to Retail Leadership Team on, the status of all locations while traveling between them
• Take a lead role in covering a callout in the event of a staffing emergency at any location
• Report inventories and supply levels, organizing as needed during this process
• Interface with staff to understand daily needs at our locations and coordinate with Retail Leadership Team to address as appropriate
• Advise in hiring and other staffing decisions
• Provide regular and ongoing performance feedback to staff and participate in discipline according to company guidelines and policies
• Participate in rollout of new programs and help to gain buy-in among staff during transitions 
• Move or purchase supplies, in the event of something running low or out
• Distribute change to bank envelopes at all locations
• Pick up cash deposits weekly
• Communicate to management if something is identified as abnormal during the course of the shift
• Understand the nuances of each specific ReAnimator location and be comfortable floating between
• Contribute to a culture of clear communication between staff and management

Qualifications

• Must have a valid drivers license

• Must be able to lift 40lbs unassisted
