Lincoln station is a bustling neighborhood cafe located steps away from the Brooklyn museum and Botanic gardens.   We serve La Colombe coffee and have a full kitchen preparing freshly baked cakes, scones, and cookies, fresh sandwiches, salads, rotisserie chickens and other simple cafe fare.    

We're looking for an energetic and friendly barista/cashier with excellent coffee and customer service skills for a part time position.

Our customers are loyal regulars whose drink you start as they walk throught the door every morning as well as tourists who have come to explore the Museum, Botanic gardens and surrounding beautiful neighborhoods.  

Must be able to.....

-work cleanly and efficiently under the pressures of a busy service while maintaining a friendly and welcoming attitude with both customers and collegues.
-Work as a member of our dedicated team to create a warm, communal and welcoming experience.
-Knowledge and understanding of specialty coffee / tea
-Properly prepare all beverages to the highest standards
-Dial in 
-steam milk correctly
-Proficient use of POS functions
-Work as a member of a team to maintain all aspects of the restaurant from set up to closing, cleaning, straightening the pastry case, wiping tables, emptying garbage cans, maintaining a clean, cared for and orderly environment
