ABOUT 
Sweetbriar is a lively modern American restaurant bridging the gap between contemporary cuisine and classic favorites, harnessing live-fire cooking and the bounty of New York to create fresh seasonal dishes with impeccable, yet simple presentations. Our curated menu features farm-fresh seasonal vegetables, expressing their natural essence with charcoal, wood & smoke. The menu will also have local fish & meats using the 'live-fire' method.

THE JOB
We are seeking a self motivated Pastry Jr. Sous to manage our AM prep and cafe, as well as support our dinner services with prep. This position would have set schedule of Monday-Friday (with some exception for events) and would primarily be responsible for overseeing pizza dough production, dessert prep, and cafe prep. We operate three businesses out of this space so there is plenty of room to grow for the correct candidate.

Our ideal candidates are gracious, unique and possess a love for hospitality. We are looking for people who know food and are willing to push for excellence. Dedicated, passionate and responsible cooks are few and far between. Is this you?

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($20.00 - $24.00)
