Job Details

DOMODOMO is a Japanese restaurant famous for its signature handrolls, DOMOKASE (our version of omakase), and modern interpretations of traditional Asian recipes.

We are seeking talented, hardworking, experienced Host / Hostess to join our amazing team and grow together.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Must have 1 year+ experience in a fast paced NYC restaurant as a host
Must have a flexible schedule, including weekends and most holidays
Must be able to stand for long period of time
Must be able to stand for long period of time
Must have full schedule availability
Experience working with Resy is preferred

SERVICE RESPONSIBILITIES

Be warm, knowledgeable and noticeably appreciative
Accommodate guests by making each individual feel welcome
Act professionally and always maintain composure
Identify and report problems to management immediately
Identify and report problems to management immediately
Be aware of service flow, dining timing, and adjust for each guest’s individual needs
Implement and follow steps of service

DOMODOMO Host / Hostess are expected to exceed our guest’s expectations by providing them with the highest level of consistent, professional, and courteous service. .

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($17.00) plus tips
