We are looking for a professional Sous Chef to be the second in command in our kitchen, following our Executive Chef’s specifications and guidelines. The successful candidate will employ its culinary and managerial skills in order to play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our customers’ satisfaction.
Requirements and skills
· High school diploma/GED is preferred
· Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook
· Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
· Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
· Familiar with industry’s best practices
· High level of professionalism
· Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment
· Excellent verbal communication and organization skills
· Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds at a time on a regular basis
· Ability to work/ stand on your feet for eight hours or more a day
Compensation: Salary/Hourly ($55,000.00 - $60,000.00)
