We are looking for a Team Leader to join our FARE team! New store opening at Northwestern Memorial Hospital! (251 E. Huron)
The Team Leader will directly manage FARE's newest location at Northwestern Hospital. This is a ground floor opportunity to open future new stores and grow their scope of operations responsibilities alongside the company's growth. Seasoned fast casual General Managers who have led new store openings and candidates with growth experience will make strong applicants.
As a Team Leader you will be in charge of the operation of a single store. From the hiring, managing and directing of team members to achieving financial goals and ensuring the delivery of exceptional guest experiences. It’s up to you to make your store a success.
The Team Leader achieves the operational, financial, and growth goals of FARE by:
- Managing the performance of your store's operational goals (Food Quality, Customer Experience, Cleanliness)
- Developing store leaders for promotion
- Building, leading, and growing a strong team that is competent, driven, and commercially minded
- Managing the performance of your store's financial goals (Sales, Labor, COGS, Controllables)
Requirements:
- Fast Casual or Upscale Casual leadership experience required
- City of Chicago Foodservice Manager certification required
- Previous experience as a Line / Prep cook
- Previous experience as a Fast Casual/Restaurant Supervisor
- Willingness to operate with a friendly character while sharing empowerment and healthy communication with the team
- Improvement oriented and always looking for ways to improve efficiency.
- Demonstrates leadership, strong teamwork and managerial responsibilities
- Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for up to 8 hours at a time
- Must have a good sense of balance, ability to bend + kneel, and frequently lift boxes + equipment up to 50 pounds
- Can effectively communicate and listen to supervisors, employees, vendors and customers.
- Able to taste in order to distinguish between flavors, spices, temperatures, mouth feel and smell to distinguish odors and scents, including the appeal and level of intensity for all food and beverage products.
