POSITION SUMMARY:

The Director of Hospitality Recruitment is responsible for leading the talent attraction, recruitment, hiring, and retention strategy with strong business and financial acumen to achieve business objectives. This individual must be a skillful leader with the ability to work collaboratively and build consensus in a matrix team environment. Must possess considerable knowledge of recruitment strategies; principles, practices, and procedures to build solid talent pipelines and ensure staffing levels are met.

 

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • 7+ years’ talent acquisition and talent management experience in a high volume, multi-unit, fast paced food & beverage environment with non-exempt and exempt employees
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a leadership role managing talent acquisition for multi-units or equivalent experience
  • This position requires 100% onsite at our coporate office at the Seaport area
  • High level strategic thinker; Must be metrics driven with strong business, analytical, and people acumen.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Strong excel and reporting skills are a must.
  • Ability to deliver on multiple open requisitions while successfully managing hiring strategy
  • Strong organization, leadership and motivational skills
  • Creative, out-of-the-box thinker and problem solver
  • A keen eye for detail, high EQ, and intuitive manner
  • Ability to perform and work with a sense of urgency while maintaining composure under pressure
  • Results oriented with ability to effectively manage projects and tight deadlines.

  • Must be able to maintain a schedule availability flexible to the business when needed. Generally this role is onsite 5 days / week (Monday – Friday).
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus!

 

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Develop, lead, and actively participate in the talent sourcing strategy and building strong talent pipeline for multiple business units across the organization
  • Champion culture and positive working environment across the organization
  • Manage day to day recruiting operations and team; cross-support HR team as needed
  • Prepare and manage recruiting budgets across all platforms; forecast spending. 
  • Seek creative and budget-conscious ways to recruit talent
  • Develop and maintain efficient, hospitable, & compliant recruitment processes
  • Maintain staffing target dashboards and update staffing levels across the organization
  • Enhance and maintain recruitment platforms and technology
  • Prepare and manage talent analytics, reporting, and key data
  • Lead recruitment-related trainings for management
  • Support pre-employment administration including facilitation of background checks, onboarding processes, and general HR support as needed
  • Partner with marketing on advertisement strategy, career site, social campaigns, etc.
  • Actively source and attract highly qualified candidates, conduct interviews, establish, and maintain a strong recruiting pipeline of candidates for the future.
  • Successfully lead team to recruit for all assigned open positions and communicate timely actions and next steps with team and hiring managers.
  • Create/update job descriptions and detailed search assignments to gain an understanding of job duties, responsibilities, and business requirements.
  • Ensure exceptional recruitment experience to candidates and full lifecycle recruiting, including special search assignments.
  • Generate and screen resumes and applications, schedule applicant appointments and conduct in-depth interviews.
  • Prepare candidates for interviewing with specific hiring managers by providing detailed information on the company, background, job descriptions, and expectations.
  • Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.
  • Facilitate end to end recruitment cycle for the candidate from initial screening to offer.
  • Actively engage with organization, community partnerships, and build network to keep talent pipeline flowing
  • Ensure constant communications, and a sense of urgency with follow ups with all candidates, leaders and headhunters/recruiters.
  • Ensures interviews are conducted according to recommended guidelines, consistent screening criteria is used, and only job-related questions are asked
  • Update trackers and generate reports as needed, ensuring full accuracy with consistent audits.
  • Ensure all candidate documentation is up to date, in compliance, and proper recordkeeping is upheld.
  • Operate ethically to protect the assets and image of the company.
  • Maintain vault-like levels of confidentiality and privacy standards
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned and per business need

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to perform the essential job functions consistent safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards

 

 The base pay range for this position is between $150,000 - $165,000 per annum. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc.
