SushiDelic is a full-service hospitality company that provides exceptional guest service and delivers exceptional food and beverage products to our guests. We are seeking an Assistant General Manager to join our team in New York, NY.

Position Summary:

The Assistant General Manager will assist with day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including assisting with scheduling, inventory, purchasing, labor management, and other duties as needed. The Assistant General Manager will also assist in organizing special events and projects. The Assistant General Manager will report to the Operations Team.

Essential Functions:
·Assist with organizing weekly shifts for all staff members. Ensure that all staff members are trained on proper service and food sanitation standards. Ensure that all food is prepared according to standards and menus. Ensure that all plates are cleaned at the end of each shift to ensure proper standards of service. Ensure that all restaurant equipment is maintained and serviced on a daily basis. Ensure that all restaurant bills are prepared on a daily basis. Ensure that all staff members are paid properly on a daily basis. Ensure that all cash and credit cards are accounted for on a daily basis. Ensure that all restaurant operations follow proper food safety procedures according to state and local regulations
·Ensure proper staffing levels throughout the restaurant on a daily basis. Assess staffing levels in the restaurant on a daily basis to determine appropriate staffing levels. Assist with hiring, training, evaluation, and termination of staff members as needed. Ensure compliance with employment laws regarding employment practices and termination of employees as needed
·Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
·Minimum of 4 years experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant required.
·Must be able to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
·Must be able to assess situations accurately and make timely decisions regarding employee training, operations or other matters related to the business'
