Job Description: As the Assistant General Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our establishment. You will work closely with the General Manager to ensure that every guest has a memorable dining experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Managing and leading a team of front-of-house staff, ensuring high standards of service and professionalism
• Collaborating with the kitchen and culinary team to maintain the quality and presentation of dishes
• Assisting in developing and implementing service procedures, training programs, and policies
• Handling guest inquiries, feedback, and resolving any issues in a timely and satisfactory manner
• Monitoring inventory, ordering supplies, and managing costs to meet financial targets
• Maintaining a positive and productive work environment by fostering teamwork and communication
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in an upscale restaurant environment
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering top-tier service
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in restaurant management software and Microsoft Office suite
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years experience
• Proven track record in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry
• Knowledge of food and beverage trends, wine pairing, and fine dining etiquette
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field (preferred)
