FINANCIAL
• Perform the daily responsibilities of the job within the scheduled time. Do not hit overtime without prior approval from management, and take a break within the expected time range.
OPERATIONS
• Complete all daily duties with excellent examples of workmanship, guest relations, and communication with the Café Manager
• Maintain a clean and organized station
• Understand and be able to effectively & accurately communicate with guests about all food, pastry and beverage items - including properly identifying and flagging allergies and dietary restrictions
• Warmly greet & assist guests and anticipate their needs
• Leave your station clean and ready for the PM crew to take over
• Maintain stocked/consolidated pastries, to go supplies & plates
• Prepare the guests for ordering by answering questions, making recommendations, serving pastries and ushering guests to the register
• Maintain a full, clean & organized ice cream case - communicate with Pastry to replenish flavors as needed, alert Manager of flavor changes to adjust paper & window menus
• Finish deep cleaning as schedule
SERVICE STANDARDS
• Execute service standards and ensure utmost guest satisfaction
• Continually offer new ideas for the service of guests and staff education
• Maintain the standards of the restaurant with an attention to detail
GUEST RELATIONS
• Be ready and available to assist all guests with anything they might need, anticipating these needs before the guest has to ask
QUALIFICATIONS
• Is legal to work in the US
• Is fluent in English
• Has exceptional people skills & genuinely enjoys food and drink
• Is able to lift at least 25lbs
• Is able to work with a sense of urgency in a team-oriented environment
