Bar Agricole, Inc. is a beverage company committed to fostering legitimate careers in food and beverage while pursuing a transparent, wholesome supply chain that conveys single-origin spirits to a growing audience. Our headquarters opened in San Francisco last July, which was followed by the launch of our direct-to-consumer brand. We partner with growers who deeply respect the land and the organic ingredients that thrive in it. Stripped down to the essence of pure flavors, without hiding behind fussy presentation or chemical manipulation, we assemble impeccable raw materials and serve them with humility and grace. We will define the category of single-origin spirits, sourcing and bottling products from around the world under our label while honoring their producers and provenance.
We’re looking for self-managing and detail-oriented candidates who are passionate about spirits, making drinks with local seasonal ingredients, and creating a positive guest experience to join our team as a full-time Bar & Service Team Member.

BAR & SERVICE TEAM MEMBER, JOB ROLE
This role is purposefully general, as we are looking to build a cohesive, self-directing team and want each member of that team to be involved in the division of responsibilities in order to create an environment where we can all succeed and thrive. In collaboration with the full Bar & Service Team, anticipated role responsibilities include:
- Providing knowledgeable, thoughtful service to our guests, making each visit unique and memorable. We have daily menu meetings and frequent beverage classes or tastings so that you can share our expertise and enthusiasm with our guests.
- Assisting with deliveries, storage, and inventory. Syrup and cocktail batch production.
- Consistent maintenance of the Bar Agricole space, i.e. dishwashing and laundry.
- Guiding guests in considering our current beverage and food offerings, delivering a true Bar Agricole experience.
- Collaborating with team members to execute nightly service and special events.
- We offer a range of hospitality experiences, from casual cocktail parties, to curated multi-course dinners, to guided tastings. Flexibility and versatility are a must.
- Adhering to the financial goals of the Bar & Service Team as implemented by the company.
As a member of the Service Team, you would also contribute in emergent, self-directing ways to the team’s mandate to:
- Manage bar inventory including product ordering, inventory storage and executing a tracking system.
- Manage the bar space including cleanliness/sanitation, organizing storage, and equipment maintenance.
- Educate staff on sustainability, producer relationships and other bar topics.
- Adhere to bar / FOH budget (labor, drink cost) as determined in company financials.
- Uphold Bar Agricole’s ethics and commitment to sustainability and producer relationships.
