We are looking for an assistant manager to join our front of house team, ideally an enthusiastic experienced bar or service professional or culinary/hospitality graduate or professional who wants to move into a management role.
this position is a member of our management team and will work under the direction of the owners and collaborate with the kitchen and event manager to ensure we have an efficient, customer focused and aligned service experience to complement our menu and customer expectations.
This is offered as a salaried full-time position or consideration for an hourly part time role. Responsibilities:
- review schedules and staffing levels with owners and management team to ensure smooth operations of bar, dining and functions
- Participate in hiring, training and performance assessment of staff
- Ensuring that hygiene and safety standards are followed, as well as recommending & enforcing standard operating procedures with our chef related to hygiene & safety
- Assist with front of house inventory management

Act as guest advocate, touch tables, speak to guests, build a following

Directly participate in and oversee effectiveness of closing procedures
- Ensure HOST function has updated & accurate menus, adequate clean menus, posts and maintains bulletin boards, in-house menu frames & priority/VOIP guest lists
- Be present, equipped & dressed to work as a leadership role model.
