SUMMARY
Under the general direction of the General Manager, the Server position assists in marking and clearing tables for coursing, maintains proper fire times, keeping a stocked and clean dining room. Servers also assist in running food and beverages to tables and ensure each guest's dining experience is smooth and enjoyable. Additionally, the Lead Server will:
- Oversee and take ownership of training new hires with trainers
- Collabore with management regarding sections and break best practices
- Communicate to management about training document and menu description updates
- Take ownership of section in dining room- a pillar of leadership from the service team
- Lead by example!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS
- Minimum 1+ years of related beverage, food, and service experience
- Additional education, training, certificates, or experience may be required
- Commitment to quality, excellence, and genuine hospitality
- Passion for creating unique guest experiences
- Ability to provide warm, humble, and knowledgeable service
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong task and time management abilities
- Willingness to continue learning about food and beverage preparation
- Willingness to work as part of an efficient team in a fast-paced environment.
- Polite and engaging
- Neat and well-groomed appearance
- Meets state minimum age to serve alcohol
- Ability to work nights, weekends, extended hours, and holidays as needed
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, reach with hands and arms for extended periods, and lift up to 30 pounds
