House of AN, parent company to the Crustacean and AnQi brands, is seeking a powerhouse Regional Event Sales Manager! 

House of AN has been family-owned and operated for over 50 years and is the pioneer in high-end Asian fusion, so much so that Master Chef Helene An, affectionately known as "Mama" the world over, has been inducted into the Smithsonian Museum as being the first to introduce Vietnamese cuisine to mainstream America. 

We seek a Regional Sales Manager to increase and develop event sales for both Crustacean Beverly Hills and AnQi Bistro at South Coast Plaza.

• Our ideal candidate is a real go-getter and proactive in every sense of the word. You're organized with a calm, friendly, and pleasant disposition and manage yourself with ease.  
• You're adept at dealing with high-end clientele and those with particular requirements.
• Our ideal candidate has an existing clientele list that they are able to introduce to our brand for events, although this is not a requirement, it will command higher pay. 
• You're detail-oriented and know the questions to ask clients to manage expectations

A little about the position: 

• You will be responsible for event sales for Crustacean Beverly Hills and AnQi South Coast Plaza and may have leads from our Event Director and past clients, however, you will be responsible for driving new event business to our restaurants through private events, buyouts, corporate events, community events, etc.
• Because you will be at the regional level, you must have reliable transportation as you will be required to travel to both locations as needed and on a regular basis. 
• You will work in tandem with our management team at either location to ensure event execution exactly as the client requires and stay at the event until a reasonable time and/or work with the restaurant team to ensure proper execution. 
• You will ensure the hiring of all vendors and event rentals as required per event
• You will ensure the House of AN brand standards are maintained down to every detail
• You will oversee and execute all details and timelines leading up to the event including but not limited to client tastings, walk-throughs, rental selections and deliveries, calendar management, menu coordination with the kitchen team, collateral and signage printing as needed, etc. 

This position has a base pay of $65K – $80K depending on experience and any existing client list you may have. Competitive commissions per event and bonuses are available and not included in the base salary!

A little about the House of AN family of restaurants: 

Thanh Long was our first location opened in 1971 in San Francisco, CA, and started as a 20-seat restaurant which grew and expanded to the 240-seat restaurant it is today. 

Crustacean San Francisco was the next location to open in 1991 to rave reviews. It was at this location Mama was dubbed the "Mother of Fusion." 

After demands of a Southern California location, Chef An's second eldest daughter and now CEO, Elizabeth An, took the business to the next level and opened our flagship location, Crustacean Beverly Hills, to rave reviews and an A-List celebrity fanbase. 

In 2009, AnQi Bistro opened at Orange County's premier shopping destination, South Coast Plaza, adjacent to Bloomingdale's, as our first luxury bistro concept. You can shop at the "Rodeo Drive" of Orange County then dine on fine California Asian cuisine. 

2010 saw the opening of Tiato Market Garden in Santa Monica, House of AN's sustainable and eco-friendly café and grab-and-go market and the largest event venue space on the Westside— a favorite among locals! 

With Crustacean being the international brand that it is, it was only right to expand to our first overseas concept in the great kingdom of Saudi Arabia — coming soon!
