Only Johnson and Wales pastry graduates will be considered.

Preferably located in the Chicago area.

Ability to work with an aspiring baker/pastry arts professional through his education at Johnson and Wales.

Our client is a 21 year old who has ADD but who is determined to become a great pastry chef.  He has a certificate from Harper College, 2 Serv Safe Certificates and the Rouxbe Introduction to Pastry Certificate. He also has worked part-time in a local bakery for 3 years.

Our client is seeking someone who can prepare him for the academics required at Johnson and Wales, Charlotte.  His hands on skills are constantly being developed, but the concerns are these:

Ability to handle the academics (writing/math).

Ability to manage the work load

Abiity to understand which support services he needs and how to access them.

If you are a JWu Charlotte grad this could be a great way to mentor a future student, as well as earn extra income over time.
