NEXUS Club New York’s Concierge Representatives are an integral part of our member experience. Our Concierge team members are eager to assist and able to multitask with a smile. This role requires discernment, prioritization, and poise. As the central hub of communication and assistance for members and staff, the Concierge team’s willingness to help others is of the highest importance. The ideal individuals are quick but calm under pressure, possess a sincere passion for gracious hospitality, hold a keen taste for cultural experiences locally and globally, and represent the lifestyle and culture of the NEXUS brand.

The Concierge and Member Service Representatives are the friendly faces of NEXUS Club New York’s member experience. The ideal individuals are quick but calm under pressure, possess a sincere passion for gracious hospitality, hold a keen taste for cultural experiences locally and globally, and represent the lifestyle and culture of the NEXUS brand.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain a warm, welcoming disposition and greet members and guests by name.
• Utilize CRM software to execute day-to-day Club operations, concierge requests, and mail.
• Enforce and communicate Club rules and guest policies.
• Manage reservation schedules for rentable spaces.
• Serve as point of contact for on-property amenities.
• Provide bespoke dining and entertainment itineraries, both locally to NYC and globally.
• Provide administrative and personal support for managament/administrators upon request.
• Work with company-wide concierge teams to create a cohesive member experience across properties globally.

Required Education and Experience

• 2 years of experience in a guest or member-facing hospitality role.
• Willingness to work non-traditional business hours, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Exceptional customer service skills and ability to prioritize while handling multiple tasks.
• Highly refined verbal and written communication skills.
• Discretion and poise in the face of high caliber clientele.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Proficiency with Mac computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods of time.
