JOB DESCRIPTION
We’re seeking responsible friendly humans to join our service team as a food runner. Passion and/or curiosity about Greek wine and food is a must. We're looking for team-players who are looking to do a little of everything—from prep to food running to training in service. Sound interesting? Read on!
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Service comes first, and you must love it. As a food runner, you will be primarily responsible for presenting our delicious food to guests. Food runners will cross-trained on the floor and in the kitchen. Sales team members will be expected to respond to guest needs, team needs, and operational needs throughout the shift, including maintaining the integrity and cleanliness of our space in its setup and breakdown.
We operate Tuesday - Saturday, evenings for now. Relationships at Méli are built on respect for each other, and passion for our product—food & wine.
COMPENSATION:
Food Runner pay will start at $18/hr + gratuity during training, after which time their performance will be assessed for additional compensation. Candidates must be available from 3pm - 12am daily.

Up to 40 hours paid time off based on hourly accrual.
Business closure on all major holidays determined by year (2023: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day).
