The Continental is looking for a Server! Join Sean Brock, a James Beard award-winning chef, at his fine-dining restaurant in Nashville Yards inside The Grand Hyatt. "The Continental is a restaurant inspired by the history of American cuisine. We will seek to create new dishes and service traditions guided by this. We will also revive some of the classics that have been forgotten. The dinner experience will be fun and festive, with a focus on service and fine cuisine. There is a great respect for craftsmanship and that will serve as our catalyst. " We are looking for individuals who desire to provide exceptional service to every guest. The beverage program will mirror the menu created by Chef Brock. We currently have a 300 -bottle wine list that spans across Europe and the West Coast. Classic cocktails, liquor and beer are also emphasized. We hope to see some of the following in our Service Team candidates:

  • Desire to provide exceptional service to each guest.
  • You can accurately take and enter orders and communicate the flow with management and chefs.
  • Knowledge of POS systems (point of sale). 
  • Available to work weekends, nights, and holidays as business dictates. 
  • Must be of legal age under TN State regulations to serve alcohol (18 years) and have a valid TN ABC certificate. 
  • Knowledge of food safety. 
  • Organization and time management skills. 
  • Reliable, efficient, courteous, professional, and a team player. 
  • Heightened sense of awareness and great attention to detail.
  • Strong sense of teamwork and seeks to drive results through collaboration. 
  • Provides an excellent guest experience that builds long-term customer relationships.
  • You must have knowledge, passion, and experience with wine, spirits, and beer. 
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Lift and carry objects over 25 pounds
  • Previous high-volume restaurant experience is preferred, but not required, along with a willingness to learn
