Let's back up, we are Farm and Market. We are a new concept that will be opening September 16th, with the orientation and training process beginning in early September. We are revolutionizing how produce is grown, prepared and sold. We re Grade-A obsessed with small-impact, big-flavor farming. Which is why we do things a little differently. Our ultra-urban hydroponic farm is growing over 50 varieties of plants with 95% less water, 100% wind-powered, and no chemicals - ever. We are not just a completely new, local, and sustainable hydroponic farm, we will also be maintaining a marketplace selling our grown in-house greens, herbs, sauces, and whatever else we feel like making while also running a healthy and passionately dedicated restaurant. Simple food, made with fine dining techniques, in a fast casual atmosphere. When we say you ve never worked at a place like this, we truly mean it. We like it that way. At Farm & Market, everyone is invited to watch the farm grow from seed to fork.
We offer 4, 10 hour work days 40 hours guaranteed with 3 days off every week, health insurance, PTO, and sick days for all full time employees. Our opening hours of operation will be 11am-7pm, so there will be absolutely no late nights, no extremely early mornings. Everyone arrives and leaves at the same time everyday so that there is no disparity between the morning and night crews because there is only one shift. We all prep, cook, engage with our neighbors, and work together to make the best possible atmosphere for the team. Meaning you ll never get stuck working the grill, cash register, or prepping for weeks on end. This position floats between them all so that every day is a little different. We are passionate believers in that the phrase that s not my job will never be uttered in our four walls.
Prep anything from roasted vegetables, to vinaigrettes, to grains and soups. Every cook will learn to make everything in the recipe book with pride and confidence. The more you learn our style and flavors, the sooner you can contribute to the implementation of specials and growing the menu. We want this to be a completely collaborative effort.
Learn every station on the line, from grill to line assembly. Every cook will learn to cook and plate the entire menu with efficiency and consistency.
Provide high quality customer experience through taking orders and checking out neighbors at the register.
Maintain an extremely clean line and presentable uniform. We are an open kitchen serving fresh salads and raw ingredients. It is absolutely paramount to our image and the health of our neighbors that we run and maintain an extremely clean kitchen.

Compensation: Hourly - $17.29 / hr + tips
