ATLA, located in the heart of Noho , NYC serving Mexican-inspired cuisine, and owned by World-renowned Chef Enrique Olvera , is currently seeking a Floor Manager to join their team.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the Restaurant Manager / Kitchen manager/ Beverage Manager/ Human Resources to lead and develop an exceptional team
- Assist with streamlining communication channels, and ensure departments are aligned with business goals
- Assist Management with Interviewing, selecting, training, scheduling, coaching and supporting staff, to ensure they are successful in their position, and perform in accordance with company standards.
- Drive sales and revenue utilizing superior floor management skills by coaching and motivating staff, and assist with guest service to ensure excellent standards of service are met
- Monitor property condition, cleanliness, quality of product, and service.
- Ensure that operating objectives and standards of performance are understood and owned by staff, and that a system is in place for effective communication.
- Act as a liaison between the front and back of house wherein a positive work environment can prosper
- Conduct / participate in pre-shift meetings to educate staff on menu items, and selling techniques
- Ensure safety practices and procedures are followed and proper emergency and security procedures are maintained.
- Monitor guest feedback and communicate findings to staff and train on best practices accordingly.
- Attend weekly manager meetings, and monthly P&L meetings
- Adhere to all company procedures as it pertains to personal appearance, attendance and conduct
- Ensure DOL/Health Department compliance as it pertains to the operation.

Position Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in the hospitality industry, with an emphasis on food and beverages.
- In-depth knowledge of the food industry.
- Strong working knowledge of related computer software, including restaurant management software
- Bi-Lingual English / Spanish a plus
Compensation Range: $65,000 - $70,000 (annual salary)
